Kings Church Little Lever
1 / 5
History & description
An independent evangelical congregation in the centre of Little Lever, meeting in a building with a much longer history than the church that now occupies it.
From a front room to the King's Centre
King's Church began in 1982 in the front room of a house. It grew steadily over the following seventeen years, and in May 1999, after a long period of planning, purchase and renovation, the fellowship moved into the King's Centre on Market Street — a building that had formerly been the Congregational church.
More than a hundred people now attend the Sunday celebration, and the centre is used through the week for community work as well as worship.
